AUN Recap: The 2nd Focus Group Meeting of AUN/SEED-Net Transitional Plan

The 2nd Focus Group Meeting of AUN/SEED-Net Transitional Plan took place last month on 18 August. The meeting was to inform the concrete transitional plan after reaching a consensus among concerned parties. In the on-going process of Phase 4 of the AUN/SEED-Net project, there are 7 active programs and achievements, all of which respond to the objectives of this 5 year period. The objective of the 2nd Focus Group Meeting was to collect opinions from AUN Member Universities regarding the programs that will be implemented during years of the transitional period throughout 2023 to 2026.

Explore the Future and Potentials of University-Industry Collaboration in the 6th ASEAN+3 Rectors’ Conference

The 6th ASEAN+3 Rectors' Conference, which broke new ground for collaborative innovation, concluded triumphantly on 21 September 2023 at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. The primary discussion sessions of the meeting sparked new insights on sustaining innovation and accelerating growth through higher education institutions’ multi-sectoral collaborations with industry, government, communities, and more. The meeting not only marked an astounding return of the biennial platform but also showed a way to a future defined by collaborative progress.

Key Highlights on Advancing to an Urbanized and Sustainable Future: AUN-EEC Conference 2024 “Rewilding the City”

Smart cities, urban development and sustainability are among key social topics that constantly evolve in conjecture with new innovations, developments and challenges to the way society develops, sustains and advances the facilities and infrastructure of their urban areas.
