AUN-QA and MyQAN connect in promoting Higher Education quality assurance in Malaysia

AUN-QA, in collaboration with MyQAN, organised “AUN-QA An Introduction of Potentials and Prospects” virtually on 12 May 2022, 9.00-10.30 AM (GMT+7). The event garnered 61 attendees from MyQAN Member universities, public and private universities in Malaysia.

AUN-QA Courtesy Visit to Indonesia Series #2: UBAYA

The second edition of the AUN-QA Courtesy Visit to Indonesia Series will take us back to our experience visiting Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) on May 31, 2022. With the university having continued its collaboration with AUN-QA in programme assessments since 2019, this milestone onsite visit to UBAYA served as a great opportunity for the AUN-QA team to discuss with the university on matters including feedback on quality assurance processes and both parties’ future operations in the post-pandemic era.

Universiti Malaya, Singapore Management University and Mahidol University hosted the 3rd ASEAN University Network-Technology-Enhanced Personalised Learning Symposium (Online)

Bringing together more than 200 educators from universities in ASEAN, the 3rd ASEAN University Network Technology Enhanced Personalised Learning (AUN-TEPL) online symposium was successfully co-organised by Universiti Malaya (UM), Singapore Management University (SMU) and Mahidol University (MU).

Dr. Choltis shared his views on credit transfer systems at the HAQAA2 African Credit Transfer System Re-Launch Workshop

The African Credit Transfer System (ACTS) workshop was launched during the HAQAA2 Advisory Board meeting on 8th June 2022 in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. The workshop was successfully held in order to revive the discussion on ACTS which entails harmonization of curricula and promotion of academic mobility in Africa. The ASEAN University Network (AUN) Executive Director, Dr. Choltis Dhirathiti shared his remarks upon the credit transfer systems in Southeast Asia among the discussion of challenges and solutions to develop the African harmonization system.

ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management Series #1: AUN Applauds the Collaborative Success of the unique ASEAN Master Degree Programme

During 30-31 May 2022, the AUN Secretariat paid a visit to Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), documenting the tremendous success of the ASEAN University Network for Business and Economics (AUN-BE) and how ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management has thrived despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Such success proves time and time again that shared leadership and cross-border collaboration will spearhead regional and international development in the coming century.

AUN-QA Courtesy Visit to Indonesia Series #1: Universitas Gadjah Mada

In the first edition of the AUN-QA Courtesy Visit to Indonesia Series, the AUN-QA team embarked on its journey to Indonesia by first visiting Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), one of the largest and oldest higher education institutions in Indonesia. UGM has been partnered with AUN-QA for many years, and the visit was to celebrate the longstanding partnerships and collaborations. The AUN-QA team was also given the opportunity to discuss future plans with UGM, receive feedback about the assessment programme, and inform UGM about notable upcoming AUN events.

AUN-QA Overview: 213th, 277th, 278th & 279th AUN-QA Programme Assessments

ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) has been working tirelessly over the first half of June 2022 in successfully conducting the 213th, 277th, 278th & 279th AUN-QA Programme Assessments respectively to London School of Public Relations Jakarta (LSPR), An Giang University (AGU-VNUHCM), Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).
