AUN-QA Overview: Marching on with the 322nd, 323rd, & 313th AUN-QA Programme Assessments

The AUN-QA team is proceeding towards the month of April with three more programme assessments to cover. As we proceed further in 2023, the focus on having on-site PA visits will continue as planned. On that note, for the last two weeks of March, PAs conducted on-site were the 322^nd PA at Vietnam National University and the 323^rd PA at University of the Immaculate Conception along with a rescheduled online/remote site visit for the 313^th PA at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa.

322^nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Vietnam National University (VNU)

The 322^nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment (online/remote site visit) was held at VNU, Viet Nam, from 21 - 23 March, 2023. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Master in Hydrology
2. Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science
3. Bachelor in Anthropology
4. The Master’s Program In Criminal Law And Criminal Procedure Law

• Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) is one of two national universities in Vietnam. VNU has undergone various stages of development: the University of Indochina established on 16 May, 1906; Vietnam National University (November, 1945); the University of Hanoi (June, 1956). In December 1993, VNU was reorganized on the basis of amalgamating the University of Hanoi and some of the other leading universities in Hanoi. VNU has 34 units, including 8 member universities, 4 affiliated schools, 7 research institutes, 2 training and research centers, and 13 service units.. In 2020, VNU-University of Medicine and Pharmacy was established. In 2020, VNU recruited 10,585 freshmen for 133 undergraduate majors, of which 15 programs were newly opened.

323^rd AUN-QA Programme Assessment at University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC)

The 323^rd AUN-QA Programme Assessment (online/remote site visit) was held at UIC, The Philippines, from 28 - 30 March, 2023. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
2. Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science
3. Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
4. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

313^th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA)

The 313^th AUN-QA Programme Assessment and site visit was held at UNTIRTA, Indonesia, from 27 - 31 March, 2023. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Bachelor of Public Administration
2. Mathematics Education
3. Non-formal Education
4. Industrial Engineering

• UNTIRTA is under the Ministry of Education
• Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, abbreviated as UNTIRTA, is a PTN (State University) located in Banten Province, Indonesia. With the main campus in Serang, the Engineering Faculty campus in Cilegon and the Teaching Faculty in Ciwaru.The history of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University begins with the Tirtayasa Education Foundation which was founded on October 1, 1980, based in Serang, Banten. The establishment of this foundation was confirmed based on the Notary Act Rosita Wibisono, SH. No. 1 dated October 1, 1980, which was then made amendments through the Notary Deed Ny. R. Arie Soetardjo, SH. No. 1 dated March 3, 1986.
